This series of works is called Dramatis Personae focuses on the territory of social metamorphoses. The background of the painting is cleared like a stage is set for theatrical performance. The geometry of “color field painting” method synthesizes with the expressionistic approach. The reduction of the form shifts the figures into the semblance statues, ruins and fossils. The characters are integrated from heterogeneous components in attempt to gain new corporeality. They appear as having survived the disaster, the fall of an empire.
The emerging anthropomorphic figures in "Ceremony", "Backdraft", "Conveyor" are deprived of the psycological. Having been created from unified matrix, from the same mould, the represent universal model of rhytmically repetative action, as festivities, parades, religious rituals. This series was inspired by the marginals from the city outskirts, whose images meanwhile allude to the characters of great narrations of old and new mythologies.
